The Nav B would be too much for my wrist I think. 42mm is probably the max size for me.

Just an old Whitnauer that my wife bought for me our first Christmas in 1967. Originally had an alligator band but has been replaced many times and now has a rather plain black leather band. Black face with military time. Day of the month indicated and is a perpetual motion movement. Been serviced about three times, not too bad for 45 years.

I'm sure someone has already posted some links, but where's a decent spot to get 'cheap' leather bands? Looking for a reddish-brown one; SOFT!! Ideally, I'd like to have a folding clasp one like this so the leather doesn't excessively wear out.

 First Christmas gift I got as a husband. Spent her entire Christmas bonus on it the year we got married. No idea what I did to deserve this woman, but I hope I keep doing it. Still love the watch, btw. Flawless. |

When I bought the 88 (G) I got it from a jeweler in Florida whose store had been demolished by a hurricane and he needed to sell off his inventory to start over in a new building. I got it for about 30% or so of retail, which is really good for a Panerai.

I got a leather bracelet for it from this shop in Pennsylvania (?) that I can't remember the name of for the life of me. The band was about $350, but it was a bigger strap, and completely unique. The Panerais require a special band because of the non-standard width.
The 88 comes with the rubber strap and the btown leather strap standard, but I both prefer black and also wanted to preserve the box and original bands.
