I just went to the official site to get some baseball info, and there's not much to be found. Does anyone know if this is due to the transition?

^ The do have the survey for the Bosh on there now. First time I had a chance to see it.

The rules for the NCAA roster limits make putting a fall roster up more problematic for the spring if you are near the 35 person roster limit, especially if decisions have not been made yet for the final regular season roster. 

Compound that with the switch and the site might be a little bare until the Fall World Series.

Bluntly, GoHeels is horrible. All of the content from TarHeelBlue was lost which is a travesty. That alone was reason enough not to make the change.

Agree with WM on this. Has anyone tried the "archives" section? Nothing but a complete BLANK page.

If you think that is bad just wait till next season when you want to watch a game on gametracker.

They have updated the archives section. Looks like they are trying to be as good as Tarheelblue was.

Can we also blame Dickie for the hideous radio coverage for all sports because of the learfield deal? Charge to listen to football and basketball on the internet? That is a great idea!

Unfortunately, yes.

Like many fronts, Mr. Baddour just trusted that everyone would always do what was in the best interest of Carolina. Great person but naive as a leader (to his own demise in the end).

I've clicked on several "game stats" or "gametracker" for other sports and it sent me to the other team's site where it was available only to subscribers of their nulion subscription program.

It is not clear in advance exactly what you get by subscribing to goheels premium. Neither UNC nor nulion seemed to know much in advance (this was in early Sept). I was told you do get to listen to radio broadcasts normally blocked due to tv rights. I think you also get highlights of games if not complete replays.

I would consider subscribing if there were reciprocity with other participating schools for away games.

Navigating the new site is laborious.

That was my post back on 8/17. I now retract that statement. Went there today to get my facts straight before responding to another post on here and can't find the archives section. The Baseball site don't even list last seasons games anymore. PATHETIC!!!

They need to take a clue from Inside Carolina........the new site is so damn loaded with tracking software it will barely load on my desktop. Takes me FOREVER to look at Joe's photos....

I emailed Learfield and they responded that "the vast majority of the feedback was overwhelmingly positive". I have no idea if we're just in the minority or what.

If you guys would list specific things that you dislike about the new site, I will be happy to pass them along.
