USC vs. Stanford Sept. 15 Should be Interesting
National TV will be there. Lots of early season hype and national ranking buzz will be heaped on the winner. The game will be at Stanford in their gleaming still new stadium. The Cardinal will be playing without their best QB in 30 years and without the other top guys gone in the first 2 rounds of the NFL draft. The game will be a sellout. But 60 % of the crowd will be USC fans. How can this be? Stanford is on the academic quarter system and Students are not allowed on campus until September 18 - BUZZ KILL! So much for the home team advantage. Prediction: USC 31 - Stanford 12.
