2 best teams went at it in over 96 degree heat for 2 days.  It was one comeback after another.  Just when you thought your team had it, they let it slip away.  However, this was Westwood's year in baseball.  Great job Cats!  Thanks to the Seniors for a Season to remember!

What a great end to the season.  Bottom line is we brought the dollar game to the penney game! Both teams played their hearts out and Westwood prevailed!  Well deserving Westwood!  P.S. Penney Express was stopped in Camilla!  Take your dwarf butt, long haired, whining butt back to Crisp County with a second place finish! Go Cats! Oh and why did Fey have to leave so early???????

Well said, must have been some good games, kinda weird the way CA prevailed in the second game though. Just a thought. 15-5  Why does everyone think CA fans and students are bad sports. Not sure if some of the people on this message board are CA fans that post about CA. CA has gone through some lean times in all sports, but  if you look at the records for all the years that GISA has been around they have done pretty good. I am proud to say I graduated from CA, and never say any "drawf butts"  while I was in school.

I agree with most of your post especially where a WW fan insulted someones stature and hair cut. That was not right. I do not quite get the statement that WW should be" thankfull" the title didn't go to Crisp this year. Both teams wanted to win it and to both teams credit it came down to the final out to decide it. You are correct that it is better to win vs a great opponant than to blow a weaker team out. Crisp was that and more. Crisp played just as hard and battled from start to finish. I want to give a BIG shoutout to our Lefty who by coming in in the second game and eating all those innings had a big part in the winning of the state title.  If any fan who was watching this last game was sure of the outcome before the last out I need some lotto numbers from you. Edge of your seat ball was what it was. Congrats to both teams for putting on a show.

Congrats to Westwood on a hard fought title run...You came very close last year and you guys worked your butts off and made it happen this year. Congrats to the seniors and a special congrats to Nobles...You dont see that very often no matter if its college, high school or the major leagues. He was the leader of the team and did what the captain is suppose to do. Wish i could have been there to see this series...Congrats to the CA players and seniors on a great season...No reason to hang your heads.
I`ve read where someone was talking about some attitude problems with some of the CA people, well, i can promise you that Westwood has some very arrogant fans as well. Im a fan of westwood and i live in mitchell county. Ive seen this up CLOSE...When things dont go their way.....gonna leave it at that..smh

NEWS ALERT ! The Penny Express has been derail by WW in Camilla GA. CA and WW fans really got into the games these past 2 days. Which as I see it they both pull for there teams as much and loud as they could, over all some trash talk from each party was going on but look at it this way they were into the 3 great games played at WW.It was a dog fight out on that field! No team gave up and could of went either way, but WW out lasted CA. Great coaching from each team but WW had a plan and stuck to it and it paid off. Nobles was a great leader during those 3 games. Congrats to the 3 freshmen that step it up and the rest of the players that fought their heart out to bring home the title. STATE CHAMPS

Westwood venters be proud venters. Those at the game know how hard it was for the players to even go on the field in the heat and humidity. CA has fans and WW has fans. Let the fans cheer and the players play.

Way I saw it was they were leaving after they did their jeering. Some WW fans gave them heck as they left...they decided to continue with WW's AD (Mrs. Good) by the classrooms..the men went up to stop anything else from happening with Mrs. Good. The 2 gentlemen were talked to by a Crisp official prior to game 3 and they must not have listen. Nobles hit one HR after extensive jawing with the same 2. I agree that if you graduate, you have to shift to adult status as a fan. Let the students play the game. Fans need to cheer.
