RE: Waves @ San Francisco tonight

Was courtside at the USF-Pep women's game at Firestone (ladies won!) but we all huddled around my laptop after the game to watch the seconds tick away on the men's win too. That was pretty fun ... we used to do that all the time when the men's program was having better times.

Keion's stats are absolutely ludicrous. I remember Michael Olowokandi putting up 14/15 shooting against us once, but he was about six inches taller than anyone we had, so that wasn't surprising. This? Don't know if I've ever seen a guard do anything like it.

You know, Santa Clara is having a mediocre season and tied for 5th in league with us right now. We go there Saturday, and to LMU the following week ... three-game road winning streak, 4-4 in league, solidly in 5th with tiebreakers over all the teams behind us ... that would be too much to hope for ... right??

Right??

Had my hopes up for the Portland game and that backfired, so I'll do the opposite for this next one and see what happens.

Regardless, what a boost of confidence that W had to be for our guys.  I just hope Darby can get back on the rebounding, and Mychel can get in some rhythm as he's too talented offensively to not be maximized.
