I think that if you indicate Personal/Gift with a PayPal transfer that there will be no fees collected when it gets cashed out as long as the money is coming from your checking account or PayPal balance rather than a credit card.
I could be wrong though--I certainly feel as though I'm giving PayPal too much credit here, even though I couldn't find anything to the contrary on the site.

My 1st-grader heard my husband and talking about it and he told me he wants to do some chores around the house to earn money to send. As a kid who worships firefighters, he was so sad to hear what happened. Just when I am about ready to give him away......

Wish that I could have given more, but times are a little rough right now. As someone who lost my father at a young age, my heart goes out to his children, and hope that we can do something to ease the difficulties ahead.

I agree, HawkNMO. I haven't sent my donation in yet for that same reason. Anyone have any ideas for matching possibilities? Scout.com, perhaps? I'm sure this is getting a lot of pageviews and will from link sharing and possible stories.

Plus, w/ the fees that PayPal charges you to donate, it doesn't really make sense to donate any less. The enjoyment I get out of Sheep every Friday is easily worth 5x that amount. |

I know you all think it's at 398th & Antioch, but Waxy O'Shea's at the corner of Quivira & Shawnee Mission Parkway is having a fundraiser on Friday, June 4th to benefit the John Glaser Memorial Fund. I know that they're donating a portion of the revenue from that night's sales, but that's all the details I have so far. I will re-post when I have the information, in case anyone's interested.
Updated to reflect the date change to next week.

This is actually a cool idea. If you want your donation included in the Phog total, but don't want to use PayPal, just send an email to that address and put in the subject line "PhogPhund - $25"
